ADHD Training Center Offers a College Success Program for Youth with ADHD/Executive Function Delays – Summer Classes and Individual Coaching
College is one of the first major life transitions that a young person will make in their lives. It is their first time with academic and/or personal independence, their first time with intensive schooling, and their first time navigating adulthood and classes together.
It is challenging for any student, but can be particularly challenging for students with ADHD and executive function disorder. ADHD Training Center offers a specialized College Success Program designed specifically for students that might benefit from professional support to help them navigate these changes and achieve better academic, social, and personal success.

What’s Included in Our College Success Program?
ADHD Training Center’s “College Success Program” is led by ADHD coaches and specialists that work specifically with teens and young adults that struggle with ADHD and executive function delays. This program is designed around this experience, to equip students with the necessary skills to thrive in the college environment.
We offer different programs at different times, so we encourage you to review the details of the program before signing up. Key components of the program include:
- Summer Classes – Our summer classes are structured to provide an intensive, supportive environment where students can focus on developing critical skills. The curriculum includes courses in time management and organization, personal responsibility, study techniques, and more. We also teach self-advocacy, where students are trained on how to communicate needs to teachers and administrators to help them thrive in a college environment.
- Individual Coaching – Through our individual coaching program, each student receives personalized coaching sessions focused on their unique challenges and goals. Our coaches are experienced professionals who understand the complexities of ADHD and executive function delays. Coaching sessions cover goal setting and planning, stress management, problem solving skills, and more to help address specific and personalized needs.
Students are given both personalized attention and an opportunity to learn with peers, giving them even more tools and opportunities to help them thrive.
Benefits of Our College Success Program
We designed our College Success Program to give young adults the psychological and emotional tools they need to do better academically and prepare for the needs that may arise as they navigate this transition. Benefits of the program include:
- More Emotionally Ready College Student – It takes a lot of emotional resilience to become and manage being a college student, and we do our best to make sure that your student is as prepared as possible.
- More Strategies for Academic Performance – College is difficult for everyone, so the more strategies you have to obtain academic success, the better. We are able to provide more of these strategies specific to children with ADHD and executive function disorder as a way to help make sure your child is in a better position to succeed.
- More Confidence and Independence – Our program is designed to foster self-reliance and confidence, empowering students to take charge of their academic journey and personal growth.
We also create these programs to provide skills and techniques that are beneficial for not only for college but also for future professional and personal endeavors,
